Payton Etheridge is an associate attorney with Sessums Law Group.
Ms. Etheridge graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Psychology from the University of South Alabama in 2019. She then attended Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama, where she distinguished herself in various capacities. Notably, Ms. Etheridge and her partner won the Parham H. Williams Trial Competition, a prestigious competition for first-year law students. She later served as Junior Director of the competition and joined Cumberland’s National Trial Team. Additionally, she was a member of the Editorial Board for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, where her student comment on Title IX was published.
After earning her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) in 2022, Ms. Etheridge was admitted to the Alabama Bar and began her legal career focusing on family law. Upon relocation to Florida, Ms. Etheridge was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2024.
